Attempts at being crafty
I made this start out of scrap book paper. It was pretty easy, the hard part was cutting the pieces to fit exactly and then coordinate the colors. But in the end it turned out alright and I added little gems just to give it something extra. I have it hanging up over my oven to match my pink kitchen!
I just finished this cross stitch a couple of weeks ago and on Saturday the frame finally came in the mail. I got the pattern at the store in Utah, but they also have an online store where I was able to order my frame from. http://www.pineneedlesonline.com
We got these chairs from Daniel's grandma. We sanded them down and redid the cushions. It took a long time sanding them, but we really like how they turned out- maybe need another coat of something on them again.

Moscow
We are in Moscow now and have been for a couple months. opps. Daniel is going to school and I started a job working in Pullman for a Birth-3 program. Daniel and I are both super busy everyday, but we love it and we really love our new apartment! Still not the best one ever- but our best one yet!
Our new living room!
We also have been enjoying this area- going to fairs and going to the farmers market. Every Saturday in Moscow they have a really great farmers market with live music- its really fun.

Life In Las Vegas
We have a little less than a month left in Las Vegas!
It has been pretty fun,
but I think we are ready to go.
My favorite free thing to do in Las Vegas is watch the fountain show at the Bellagio
Also, speaking of cool free stuff, Daniel and I got free tickets since we are locals,
to see Nathan Burton, comedy magic show.
It was pretty fun and we had a great time there,
especially since it was free!
But my soda did cost us a good $5, even with a $1.00 coupon.
Cool umbrellas at the Venetian. Also I chopped my hair off.

Hoover Dam
A couple of weekends ago, Daniel and I decided to go to Lake Mead. Daniel looked up some trails and we found one called the old railroad trail. We got there are realized that if we hiked 2 extra miles we could see the Hoover Dam! so we did- it was soooo hot that day but we had a lot of fun and ended the day by going swimming in lake mead.

Married Life so far......
We haven't been very good at updating on our blog so here is a big one summarizing our life sooo far......kinda in backwards order though
Daniel just finished his tour with vocal union and I moved to vegas to start my student teaching. His last concert was in Manti, Utah. It was really good and we stayed the night there and had a chance to walk a little bit around the temple grounds.

Daniel and me after his pretour concert with vocal union. I really wanted to get a picture of the funny faces he makes when he sings, but I never did.
